Like the human skin, the gSKIN® Heat Flux Sensor is able to measure three different types of heat transfers, namely conduction, convection, and radiation.



Integrate the ability of the gSKIN® sensor to measure heat flux through materials to quantify the heat output of chemical reactions or to measure energy efficiency in buildings.

Use the gSKIN® sensor to measure heat fluxes through liquids and gases for non-invasive flow measurement or fluid detection.
 

The ability to measure heat fluxes through electromagnetic waves makes the gSKIN® the ideal tool for solar radiation, infra-red and laser power sensing.
 

The gSKIN® Heat Flux Sensor generates an output voltage which is proportional to the local heat flux. In order to calculate the heat flux, the output voltage must be divided by the sensor sensitivity.
