High Voltage Pulse Generators

SDS high voltage pulse generators are based upon the use of field-effect transistor technology. They have the remarkable feature of being inserted into lightweight and reduced obstruction cases.

GIPO generators can produce pulses that can reach 5.5kV with a rise time of a few nanoseconds, generally 2.5ns. Pulse length is adjustable and can go as low as 200ns. Longer pulses to charge capacitive loads are adjustable and can reach approximately 30μs. The GIPO is available either in a block configuration or as a stand-alone unit. This product is encapsulated in a specific resin.
