FEMTO® amplifiers and photoreceivers all have very low noise and high gain. This makes them ideal as “sophisticated tools for signal recovery” in your scientific and industrial applications. The FEMTO® name says it all. If you are technical, you know that femto means 10 to the -15th. Many of the FEMTO amplifiers have internal noise levels at or less than that. Incredible! Let’s review the different classes of FEMTO amplifiers.

First the Current Amplifiers for high impedance devices like detectors and photodiodes. The FEMTO Current Amplifiers are variable and fixed gain amplifiers with transimpedance gains up to 10 to the 13th and noise levels down to 0.18 femto amps (WOW). Bandwidth choices are from DC to 200 Megahertz. A point to remember is as the bandwidth increases so does the noise.

For low impedance devices (less than 10Kohms) FEMTO has a series of Voltage Amplifiers, again with low noise the primary feature. The amplifiers include the DLPVA Low Frequency Series, the DHPVA Wideband Series and the High Speed GHz Series.

  • Low Frequency Fixed and Variable Gain Voltage Amplifiers with DC to 100KHz bandwidth, low noise and gain up to 60dB.
  • Wideband Voltage Fixed and Variable Gain Amplifiers with DC to 500MHz bandwidth, low noise and gain up to 60dB.

  • And for really fast signals High Speed GHZ Amplifiers up to 2.5GHz.
