The new SPDT (Single Point Diamond Turning) machine has a state-of-the-art laser assisted machining tool. This significantly increases our capacity and enables us to machine a much wider range of materials including fused silica, zinc selenide, zinc sulfide and other glasses.
LBP/ULO can supply aspheric optical elements for use in optical assemblies with fewer elements and coating surfaces. LBP can offer complex curved reflective surfaces with a focusing function. Both of these capabilities present significant advantages as the power levels of fiber lasers increase.
