Detect Harmful SF6 Gas Leaking from High Voltage Switches

smartGAS has developed NDIR modules that can detect extremely potent greenhouse gas SF₆ (sulfur hexafluoride) insulating gas leaking from high voltage switches.  SF₆ gas is used because of it’s great insulating properties at high voltages, however, it is extremely harmful to the environment.

smartGAS has developed reliable NDIR modules that can detect the SF₆ gas at levels as low as 0.5ppm.  There are four different SF₆ gas detection module options ranging from 0.5ppm to 3%.
