PID Sensors are ATEX and IECEx Certified

Electro Optical Components is excited to announce the Senovol 4-Series PIDs (Photoionization Detection) sensors have achieved ATEX and IECEx certifications.

ATEX and IECEx certifications allow Senovol’s 4-Series PID sensors to be officially sanctioned for use in gas monitors used in hazardous material environments.  These PID sensors are designed for the detection of a wide variety of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).  Any compound with ionization energy (IE) lower than that of the lamp photons can be measured.  Based on its proprietary ultraviolet (UV) lamp technology, Senovol PID sensors have the advanced features of high UV outputs, and long lamp life spans.
