UV Sensors in SMD – Great for UV Sterilization

To reduce the cost and size, Electro Optical Components offers UV Sensors in three (3) SMD packages including a subminiature UV sensor CSP package (1mm X 1mm X 0.3mm).

Other UV Sensor SMD packages available are:

• Ceramic SMD substrate, UV sensor and silicone encapsulation for lower cost.
• Ceramic SMD Package with UV Quartz Window and UV sensor for high energy, robust applications.

The lower cost and smaller size make these three package options ideal for cost sensitive applications like UV sterilization, wearable UV detectors, UV detectors in portable devices like phones and watches and other high volume cost sensitive consumer applications where measuring the UV intensity is desired.
